Find your treasure in your trouble.

Find your treasure in your trouble.

Would you like to find a treasure? Who wouldn’t, right? But in your life, you might find yourself struggling a lot instead of that. The worst moments of struggling are when you see others, especially those on social media, who appear to have great and amazing lives. But, what if I tell you, that if you struggle it is a good thing? That there is an amazing treasure hidden in it? How is that? Let us check this together.

What is with all troubles and misery?

Ever wonder why bad days are happening to you? Why you can’t have an easy and happy life all the time? When do you see others having it this way? Enjoying their lives. Living better without any troubles and stresses. Or at least it looks like this when you see their social profiles. Is it like this really? Are those people really have so nice and untroubled lives, as shown in the pictures? Well, live them be. Let you focus on yourself and your life, instead.

I would like to introduce you to some losers from history. People who were perceived by others as dreamers and lunatics. Whos were seen as defective and unable to achieve anything. The first one is Thomas Edison. Wait, what? Yes, Edison failed more than 10 000 times before he succeeded and invented the working light bulb. It is also said that Edison had difficulties in school. Yet, he is a well-known inventor of many devices or part of the devices we are using in our times.

Let us meet another “loser”. Beethoven. He was deaf. He was told, he will never hear. Therefore, he would not be able to become a musician or anyone who would be able to work in the music industry. Do I need to tell you that, Beethoven became one of the greatest and well-known compositors of all time? If you are interested, you can do a little research of your own. And you will find, that most of the famous people from the past, had huge problems. They go through heartbreaking situations. Had a poor start in life. Yet they did not give up. They overcome all of that. And unpacked the gifts from those troubles, becoming famous.

Why do problems happen?

There is a saying that God sends you a gift, but is wrapped up in trouble. The biggest trouble the better price. Hard to believe? Well, it might be. You do not have to. But this is how your and all people in the world life is like. We all have problems. And they look like the end of the world type ones. Especially for this person, for you, who is facing it, right? You might have a financial, health, relationship problem that for you seems unsolvable.

However, it will look like that for you only if you will focus on it and see it as a problem. As something throw at you, to make your life horrible, unbearable. As something to throw at you to break you. To make you feel horrible and like a unfortunate person. Like a loser. If you will look at your problems this way, they will always appear like that. Moreover, those problems will make you feel worse and worse.

But, aren’t those problems of mine a big one? – You might say – Ok, maybe they will not impact the world peace, economy or anything like that. But those problems are huge for me. They impact my health, finances, relationships, my life. So they huge for me. – You right in this part. They are huge for you. And you can feel bad having them. That’s ok, That’s normal. Remember, however, what I told you earlier. God gives you this trouble as a wrapper of a equally big gift.

How can you unwrap your treasure?

So now, a question for you. Do you still want to see all misery, all your problems, as unsolvable? Things that were thrown at you to bring you to your knees? To make you unhappy and feeling like a loser? I want you to know that problems are a natural part of life and it is just your perspective of them that matter. If you will still focus only on how terrible the problem is, how terrible it makes your life and how terrible it makes you feel. It will be just like that.

On the other hand, if you start to look at it as a wrapper for a gift from God, higher instance, universe. Well, do this little exercise. Pick quickly one of your problems. The one that first pops up in your mind now. Look at it as a wrapper of an amazing gift. What do you feel? What do you want to do with it? Don’t you want to tear off this wrapping to get into that gift? To see what it is? So how can you rip it off? What can you do with it? How can you manage this issue, to get your hands on that amazing price hidden inside?

How do you feel now? Knowing this simple trick you can use with every one of your difficulties? One more thing. Imagine all your dilemmas as a stack. So you only need to deal with, just with one at a time, with the one on top. How you feel now, knowing all this? Or rather reminding yourself about that, cause you knew that already deep in you. Remember also this, no one ever is defeated until defeat has been accepted as a reality. So, do you still want to feel bad about your problems? Or you want to see what gift is hidden inside them? The choice is yours.
