How often your mind is attacked by intrusive thoughts? How often those thoughts make you feel dizzy or give you a headache? What can you do about that? Is there a way to silence them?
If you do some research, you might find many solutions. From one harming your body. Such as using drugs, legal or not legal, or alcohol. To solutions, that are harder to hone, but healthier and more effective when used.
The most powerful, I find myself, is a meditation. It was hard for me at the beginning to grasp the whole idea of sitting still or lie. Listening to some relaxing music. Keep focusing my mind on not thinking about anything. Usually, after a few minutes, I got angry, I stood up and back to the thoughts race.
This fight was very tiring. Moreover, it makes me feel depressed, even worthless, as each of my tutors, friends could meditate for hours with no problems. But I was stubborn as I knew and I feel that this is something that works.
I stopped to fight with these feelings that this is pointless, as I could not stop thinking. To make it easier, I have started to focus on the sounds of wind or on my breathing. Every time, I took the breath in, I thought “I love” and then on breathing out “you”.
I found that every next time, this is getting easier. And I am able to focus for longer periods of time. In result, I feel better. Calmer. My thoughts disappear. Relaxed and rest with me. I am encouraging you to try this as well. Just a few minutes a day. And feel the relaxation and rest from your turbulent thought.
Be positive, be blessed, peace out.
